MOS DEF has been rapping since he was 9 and is preparing to release his fourth solo album in early 2009 (rumored to be called The Ecstatic).  The first track to surface is Life In Marvelous Times, and it’s produced by Ed Banger’s Mr. Flash. He’s got some hot ass beats in his arsenal, he brings full blown orchestral hits into this track that make it ready for a movie soundtrack.  The lyrics focus on Mos Def’s life growing up in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn.
