Blooming Flower Tea
I’m always brewing all kinds of tea from loose to the good ‘ol generic bag with the string. About a year ago I came across a little dried up flower ball that claimed to me it was going to bloom under hot water and brew a perfect cup of tea.
You can only imagine my curiosity was certainly piqued. Check out the video below of a flower blooming before our eyes. A little scary and wondrous at the same time, kind of reminds me of a sea urchin as its growing. You can get all kinds by searching ‘blooming tea’ online. Get some easily here.

Build A Moss Terrarium and Check out Doodle Birds Designs
As a young boy scout, one of our challenges was to create and sustain a moss terrarium. Ours were made out of 2-liter soda bottles, but they still rocked my 5th grade curious mind. I’m living in such a bright apartment now, I couldn’t think of a better project for the winter ahead. It just so happens I found a short and sweet how-to on Lifehacker (one of my favorite reads).
