Adam Frank’s Oil Lamp Shadow Projectors
AdamFrank’s been casting eerie tree and bird shadows on walls for awhile now with his Lumen series of acid-etched, stainless steel, oil lamp shadow projectors. A recent post on Wire To Ear recently reminded me of absolutely having to buy one to have a shadow on my wall. He’s also got a new Reveal series of window projections you can use to create many effects on walls or windows. Each Lumen is sold on adamfrank.com for $48.00 plus shipping and handling. I can’t wait to have one of these at home glowing on my walls late at night. Lots of styles to choose from, check ‘em out!
Build A Moss Terrarium and Check out Doodle Birds Designs
As a young boy scout, one of our challenges was to create and sustain a moss terrarium. Ours were made out of 2-liter soda bottles, but they still rocked my 5th grade curious mind. I’m living in such a bright apartment now, I couldn’t think of a better project for the winter ahead. It just so happens I found a short and sweet how-to on Lifehacker (one of my favorite reads). For the lazy procrastinators (myself included) I also stumbled upon some amazing moss terrariums by Doodle Bird Designs. I’m obsessed with the bird outfit above, Doodle Bird’s also got some great accessories for all your terrarium-ing needs. Christmas gifts galore!
Find them all at Doodle Bird Designs on Etsy.
Ron Mueck – MIND BLOWING SCULPTURES
Normally when i write about a artist i like to go deep understand some of the work they create. Ron Mueck is one of the premier names in the photo realistic sculpture field, this must be his Sistine chapel! such craft and detail cannot be of human mind, it takes pure brilliance to create such a masterpiece. i will not look for creative works or do the research for you, let the work talk for itself!
Liu Bolin Burning Man Obama

Liu Bolin known as the Invisible Man has created another masterpiece! The art and technology out of China is definitely my obsession. I know everyone says products from China are crap, FYI its our manufacturing agents thatlower the quality level. Why do our manufacturing agents do this? Simple economics, cheaper product, more prof$t margins! Well what can you do everyone loves a new Fendi even tho it was assembled in China and made at bare costs. Back to the “Invisible Man” Bolin was cited saying his inspiration was the affect Obama has on the world, I don’t know if he means positive or negative but alas he has created another master piece!
